  not posting so much lately

  i haven't been posting so much recently, but it's not because i've had enough of you all.

  actually it's for a good reason.. my firm enrolled me on a home study course in a field similar to my current career but slightly more advanced.. ironically, several weeks after me enrolling on the course, they announced my department is being outsourced to india and we are all to loose our jobs at the end of march.. strangely enough, i'm not too worried about that, it's happened to me 3 times before with the same firm and i always found something else.

  in fact, i might not even bother.

  i heard something and i would like to know the truth so i'll ask this question..... how often do you bathe and change your underwear?.

  i heard that people from certain places don't bathe for days and only change their underwear when it gets really deteriorated.. .

  through the centuries this tradition of depicting angels as handsome, sexually appealing and fabulous continued.

  LOL joelbear!! I was just looking at the cover of the 01/15/06 Watchtower and sorry but they are the most UNsexy bunch of angels I ever saw!

  (Evidently making angels look sexy is a totally pagan element of Christendom)

  Have a good look around this place and let what you see help you decide whether the JW religion is right or not (there are a few apologists here too!).

  A word of advice - earthquakes, wars and all that have been going on since the year dot - that should NEVER be a sole reson for joining ANY religion. You join any religion, you buy the whole package. Please be careful whatever you decide.

  WHAT DO YOU THINK OF CHILD BEAUTY PAGENTS?

  i was watching dr. phil yesterday and they had these women on there who have their daughters entered in beauty pagent contests looking like miniture hookers.

  i was stunned when i saw pictures of the one 8 year old girl: more make-up than tammy faye baker, hair pieces, false teeth, fake tan and totally slutty outfits.

  she looked like a plastic barbie.

  Crikey, I wasn't sure how OTT they were until I saw those pics - frightening indeed.

  When I was young (eee them were t' days...!) we had competitions for who would be 'gala queen' (U.S. carnival?) and get to sit on the back of a lorry in the gala parade but you just put on your best dress and did your hair nice, it wasn't this extreme.

  It's ball-shattering cold outside!

  it's -35 degrees celcius here.

  with the windchill, it's -45 (that's -49 farenheit for those in the us).

  had to let the truck warm up for a good 10 minutes today, and it was solid as a rock (yes, it was plugged in).

  So that's where PMJ's been hiding

  Realistically this person does admit that the bad stuff happens within the org - and as an individual, they appear to have a sincere desire to see it rooted out. (I say this because I see this person defending the organisation by their comments, not the individuals - but maybe I'm reading it differently to others here)
